The collection made from recycled ocean plastic was the culmination of a long-term collaboration between G-Star RAW, Parley for the Oceans, Pharrell Williams and Bionic Yarn. The campaign won the Grand Prix for Product Design at Cannes Lions 2014, two D&AD Pencils and an ADCN Grand Prix 2014. Together with G-Star RAW’s in-house team and Mark Muller, Christian Borstlap/Part of a Bigger Plan developed the communication concept and film for ‘RAW for the Oceans’.
