We conceived the branding, identity and a short film to introduce ‘Room on the Roof’, the inaugural artist-in-residence programme of de Bijenkorf; a collaboration with the Rijksmuseum. Known as the ‘Harrods of Holland’, the luxury department store is owned by the Weston Family, proprietors of Selfridges (UK).

Our film introduced ‘Room on a Roof’ – binoculars and breakfast included – to draw national and international artists, writers, musicians, architects and designers to the tower atop the 103-year-old building on Dam Square, Amsterdam. To date, its temporary lodgers have included Maarten Baas, We Make Carpets, Bethan Lauren Wood and Tania Kross.
